Riding Attire

Please make sure you wear closed toed shoes. A nice boot with a heel is preferable. You may bring your own helmet, but we have helmets to borrow. Long pants and gloves are based on each rider’s preference. Please dress comfortably.

Remember: Sometimes the saddle pinches your legs and the reins rub your hands.

What are Virtual Lessons?

Virtual lessons are taped lessons you can do at home without a horse. You will learn more about grooming, tack, riding techniques, exercises, and horse fun facts. Lessons will be sent to the device of your choice or available on Youtube.

What are Ground Lessons?

Ground lessons are at the barn on the ground with no riding. Participants will work with horses – grooming, feeding, and ground work. You will learn the skills you need to build a foundation to better riding.
